Ben Mavis and Heather Grine
NEY -- Laura and John Rensberger of Ney and Ed Grine of San Antonio, Texas, announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Heather Grine, to Ben Mavis, son of Larry and Eva Mavis, Farmer.
The bride-elect received her bachelor's degree in athletic training and wellness from Defiance College in 2006. She is presently pursuing her master's degree in education with an emphasis in Health Physical Education and Recreation/sports administration at Bowling Green State University.
Her fiancé received his bachelor's degree in industrial design from Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, Mich., in 2007. He is employed by NemCo Food Equipment, Hicksville.
The couple will exchange wedding vows on Saturday, June 7, in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Bryan.
