BATH TOWNSHIP -- The Defiance boys and girls track teams rolled past Lima Bath and Fort Jennings in action on Monday, with both teams winning every event but one in the tri-meet.

The Defiance boys finished with 134 points to finish first, followed by Bath with 22 and Fort Jennings with 15.

Aaron Demecs won three events, while Dylan Poston and David Pagan were each double winners for the Defiance boys. Demecs won the long jump, 100 and 200 meters for the Bulldogs, while Poston was first in the shot put and discus and Pagan won the high jump and 110 hurdles.

The Defiance girls finished with 122 points, followed by Bath with 33 points and Fort Jennings with 16 points.

Brittany Bryant was a double winner for the Lady Bulldogs, finishing first in the long jump and 200 meters, while Lauren Fett set a new Defiance High School record in the 800 with a run of 2:20.6.
