State Patrol

Wednesday, 6:40 a.m., on U.S. 127 in Williams County's Pulaski Township, a vehicle driven by Jamie Legacy, 35, Kunkle, struck and killed a deer. Damage to the vehicle was moderate.

Thursday, 6:25 a.m., on Ohio 111 in Defiance Township, a vehicle driven by Dennis Reinhart, 52, Oakwood, struck and killed a deer. Damage to the vehicle was light.

Thursday, 6:40 p.m., on U.S. 127 in Defiance County's Washington Township, a vehicle driven by Sandy Brashaw, 29, Bryan, overturned. Brashaw and her passenger, Sierra Brashaw, 9, Bryan, were taken by Sherwood EMS to Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers, Bryan, where they were treated and released. Assisting at the scene was the Defiance County Sheriff's Office. Damage to the vehicle was heavy.

Thursday, 10:15 p.m., on U.S. 127 in Defiance County's Washington Township, a vehicle driven by Jodie Swan, 22, Sherwood, struck a deer. Damage to the vehicle was moderate.

Defiance Police

Thursday, 3:07 p.m., on Hilton Avenue, near Nicholas Street, vehicles driven by Julia Armstrong, 38, 435 Pontiac Drive, and Donald Gomez, 27, 1022 Washington Ave., collided. Gomez was cited for assured clear distance. Damage was light to both vehicles.

Thursday, Denise Gray, 52, 833 E. Second St., was charged with disorderly conduct following an alleged incident at the residence.

Thursday, Carlos Flores, 35, 621 Grover Ave., was charged with domestic violence following an alleged incident at the residence. He was taken to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, rural Stryker.

Hicksville Police

Wednesday, Buford Smallwood, 21, Middlepoint, was charged with two counts of assault, disorderly conduct, and criminal trespassing following an alleged incident on East Edgerton Street.

Henry Sheriff

Thursday, 3:12 p.m., at T-587 County Road 7, a car driven by Matthew Bogert, 17, P-503 County Road 5-A, Napoleon, struck a truck driven by Stewart Overmier, 69, T-587 County Road 7, Liberty Center. Damage to both vehicles was light.

Thursday, 3:46 p.m., at the Henry County Airport, a car driven by Kevin Cross, 35, Alexandria, Va., struck a utility pole, spun around and came to rest in the field. Cross was admitted to a Toledo facility for medical treatment.

Today, Matthew Gunter, 24, Grelton, was arrested on charges of OVI and disorderly conduct following a traffic stop at Ohio's 109 and 110.

Napoleon Police

Thursday, Cladys Morris, 43, Napoleon, was arrested for theft, and Glenn Morris, 59, Napoleon, was arrested for complicity after an alleged incident at 928 Woodlawn Ave.

Bryan Police

Thursday, Robert Coffey, 56, 1700 E. High St., was charged with domestic violence and disorderly conduct. He was taken to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, rural Stryker.

Thursday, P. Jason Oiler, 36, 946 E. Wilson St., was charged with theft and also arrested on a felony warrant out of Lagrange County, Ind. He was taken to CCNO.

Williams Sheriff

Thursday, Galen Siegel, West Unity, reported the theft of a green cultipacker, valued at $8,000, from his field on Williams County Road M.

Thursday, Bryan Auto Depot, 05058 Ohio 15, Bryan, reported the theft of an aluminum utility trailer, valued at $1,400.

Thursday, 2:43 p.m., at 421 N. Upton St., Holgate, firefighters were called to extinguish a grass fire.

Thursday, 5:46 p.m., at N-255 County Road 5, Damascus Township, firefighters were called to extinguish a field fire.

Defiance Municipal Court

Sentenced: Joe Bonar, 49, 10682 Paulding County Road 171, Oakwood, driving under suspension, $250 fine, 90 days jail suspended; using plates of a former owner, dismissed with costs.

William Rodenhauser, 41, 830 Hobson St., Napoleon, reckless operation, $250 fine, three days jail, six-month license suspension; no safety belt, $30 fine.

Rachel Ray, 24, 119 E. Sessions Ave., possession of drug paraphernalia, $250 fine, 30 days jail suspended, six-month license suspension; drug abuse, dismissed with costs.

Eric Richman, 41, 1300 Terrace Drive, possession of drug paraphernalia, $250 fine, 30 days jail suspended, six-month license suspension; possession of marijuana, $150 fine, six-month license suspension to run concurrently; driving under suspension, $250 fine, 180 days jail suspended; left of center, dismissed with costs; drug abuse, $150 fine, six-month license suspension to run concurrently.

Henry Common Pleas

John Hernadnez, 24, Napoleon, was sentenced to 15 days jail, 45 days electronic monitoring and three years community control after previously pleading guilty to four counts of trafficking in marijuana, fifth-degree felonies.

Andrew Johnson, 18, Weston, was arraigned on eleven counts of vandalism, fifth-degree felonies. He pleaded not guilty and his personal recognizance bond was continued. A preliminary hearing was set for June 3.

Brandon Barton, 25, Napoleon, was sentenced to 34 months jail after previously pleading guilty to two counts of trafficking in cocaine, fourth-degree felonies. He was also ordered to make $1,000 restitution.

Williams Common Pleas

Julie Baden, 43, Napoleon, pleaded guilty to illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse into a detention facility, a third-degree felony. Sentencing was scheduled for May 21.

Leonard Caddell, 60, Napoleon, pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony, and failure to appear, a fourth-degree felony. He was sentenced to 12 months in prison on each charge, to served be concurrently.

Erin Fuller, 22, Bryan, pleaded guilty to three counts of trafficking in marijuana, all fifth-degree felonies. Sentencing was scheduled for May 22.

Jeremy Vasquez, 25, Bryan, pleaded guilty to endangering children, a third-degree felony. Sentencing was scheduled for May 7.

Kimi Halcomb, also known as Kimi Devore, 42, Montpelier, pleaded guilty to passing bad checks, a fifth-degree felony. Sentencing was scheduled for June 4.

David Peckinpaugh, 46, Montpelier, was sentenced to 50 months of prison on a charge of OVI, a third-degree felony. Also, his driver's license has been suspended for life.

Robert Sinkey Jr., 20, Kunkle, was sentenced to serve four years in prison on a charge of burglary, a second-degree felony.
