Sunday, 8:55 p.m., on Huber Road in Defiance County's Hicksville Township, a vehicle driven by John McCain, 20, 105 Dohrn Drive, Hicksville, struck a deer. Damage to the vehicle was moderate.

Sunday, 10:20 p.m., on Openlander Road in Defiance County's Farmer Township, a vehicle driven by Daniel Ordway, 37, Bryan, struck a ditch when swerving to miss hitting deer. Ordway was cited for failure to control. The vehicle was not damaged.

Saturday, 4:45 p.m., at South Clinton and Shultz streets, a vehicle driven by Magdalena Guyton, 25, Melrose, struck the rear of a vehicle driven by David Schnelle, 45, Paulding. Guyton was cited for assured clear distance. Damage was light to Guyton's vehicle and moderate to Schnelle's.

Sunday, 5:16 p.m., at East Second and Clinton Streets, a vehicle driven by John Fox, 64, 260 Ruth Ann Drive, was struck in the rear by a vehicle driven by Sean Bergman, 37, 14421 Scott Road. Bergman was cited for assured clear distance. Damage was light to both vehicles.

Saturday, Francisco Villareal III, 37, Defiance, was charged with possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on North Clinton Street.

Saturday, Jamie Hernandez, 33, 818 Ottawa Ave., was arrested on a no bond warrant out of Defiance Common Pleas Court. He was taken to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, rural Stryker.

Sunday, Jakob Salisbury, 24, 17615 Defiance-Paulding County Line Road, was charged with disorderly conduct while intoxicated following an incident in the 1700 block of South Clinton Street.

Sunday, Tina Medranom, 34, Saginaw, Mich., was charged with assault following an incident at Primo's Italian Restaurant, 1451 Baltimore Road.

Sunday, Jason Niese, 26, Leipsic, was charged with OVI, improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle, open container and left of center, while Keith Duling, Ottawa, was charged with open container following a traffic stop on South Clinton Street.

Sunday, Lindsay Tressler, 21, 26720 Slusser Drive, was charged with OVI, right half of the roadway and open container following a traffic stop on Latty Street.

Sunday, Billy Powell, 46, Defiance, was charged with domestic violence following an incident at 07640 Ohio 15.

Sunday, Donald Guilford Jr., 21, Mark Center, was charged with OVI following a traffic stop in Ney.

Today, Brittany Eickholt, 19, Holgate, was charged with criminal trespassing, obstructing official business and no seat belt, while Richard Castillo, 18, Defiance, was charged with criminal trespassing, obstructing official business and failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer following a brief pursuit on Shindler Road in Defiance County's Highland Township.

Henry Sheriff

Sunday, 3:25 a.m., at 614 First St., Ridgeville Corners, an all-terrain vehicle driven by Jacob Wyse, 29, S-802 County Road 20-B, Ridgeville Township, rolled over. Wyse was transported by Ridgeville rescue to Henry County Hospital where his condition was unavailable. He was cited for DUI. Damage to the vehicle was light.

Sunday, 4:27 p.m., on County Road 13, north of County Road U, a truck driven by Patrick Dix, 28, 272 Grenwich Drive, Napoleon, struck a culvert and rolled, coming to rest on its side. Dix was transproted by air ambulance to University of Toledo Medical Center, where his condition was unavailable. Damage to the vehicle was heavy.

Saturday, Daniel Hull, 33, Delta, was cited for OVI following a traffic stop at County Roads 4 and 5-A.

Saturday, Noah Branham, 47, Holgate, was arrested on a charge of domestic violence after an alleged incident at 103 Railway Ave., Holgate. He was taken to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, rural Stryker.

Sunday, Jess Hernandez, 57, Napoleon, was charged with OVI and driving under suspension following a traffic stop at 304 E. Clinton St., Napoleon.

Sunday, prescription drugs were reported stolen from a vehicle at L-185 Ohio 109, Malinta.

Napoleon Police

Sunday, 3:06 a.m., at Clinton and Perry streets, a van driven by an unknown driver struck a traffic light pole and then left the scene. The vehicle, owned by Rachael Perez, 602 S. Perry St., Napoleon, was reported stolen. Damage to the vehicle was heavy.

Friday, checks were reported stolen at 416 Appian Ave.

Friday, two Napoleon juveniles were charged with theft after an alleged incident at 1247 Scott St.

Saturday, Tammy Lawrence, 44, Napoleon, was charged with felonious assault after an alleged incident at 98 Courtland Drive.

Saturday, Christopher Mortemore, 25, Napoleon, was arrested on charges of breaking and entering and possession of criminal tools after an alleged incident at 1419 Scott St.

Bryan Police

Friday, Ryan Wines, 25, 1311 Center St., Bryan, was arrested on a bench warrant out of Bryan Municipal Court. He posted bond and was released.

Saturday, Matthew Johnson, 23, 01717 Ohio 576, Bryan, was charged with OVI.

Sunday, Dustin Bush, 20, West Unity, was charged with OVI and expired license plates.

Sunday, T.C. Perry, 21, 110 N. Lynn St., Bryan, and Zachery Cooper, 23, 238 Vine St., Bryan, were arrested on warrants out of Bryan Municipal Court with the assistance of the Edon Police Department. Both were taken to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, rural Stryker.

Putnam Sheriff

Saturday, 6:52 p.m., near 24375 Road O, all-terrain vehicles driven by Jeremiah Howard, 25, Delphos, and Taylor Whitlock, 19, New Lexington, were traveling through an open field when they struck a drainage ditch. Howard was taken by air ambulance and Whitlock was transported by Ottoville EMS to St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, where they were both listed in "fair" condition this morning. The accident remains under investigation.

Fire -- Saturday, 1:30 p.m., firefighters were called to 26440 Hoffman Road for a field fire.
