TOLEDO - Two interceptions in the final five minutes thwart a pair of Napoleon drives as the Wildcats came up short in their Division III regional semifinal contest against Clyde at Toledo Central Catholic High School, 19-13. Alex Gillette of Clyde threw three touchdown passes in the first half, two to Justin Cook, as the Flyers jumped out to an early 19-7 halftime lead. The Wildcats pulled within 19-13 with 8:59 remaining in the contest when Matt Niese blocked a punt and Derek Dulaney recovered it at the 1-yard line and took it in for the score. Niese also had a pair of sacks and an interception in his final game with the Wildcats. Andrew Keller threw for 192 yards for NHS while teammate Connor Pain ran for 92 yards for Napoleon which ends its season at 10-2. Comments
