By JASON STEIN cnsports@crescent-news.com HAMLER - The Patriots of Patrick Henry didn't take long to show that they are poised to make another long playoff run after upending the Tigers 50-6 in Friday's Division V, Region 18 opening round playoff game. PH got off to a quick start scoring on a 48-yard touchdown run by Drew Kuesel. The defense also made a quick statement as Luke George picked off Tigers' quarterback Patrick Brown on his first pass attempt. Kuesel added three more touchdowns and ran for 175 yards on just 20 carries.
The Patriots will play Lima Central Catholic, which defeated the Bucyrus Wynford on Friday night. Comments
