Thursday, 6:05 a.m., on Williams County Road H, west of County Road 13, a vehicle driven by Dennis Green, 51, Edon, struck a deer. Damage to the vehicle was moderate.

Thursday, 8:30 p.m., on Ohio 2, in Defiance County, a vehicle driven by Linda Pelton, 49, Hicksville, struck a deer. Damage to the vehicle was moderate.

Thursday, 11:47 a.m., at East Second and Douglas streets, an unknown vehicle struck a vehicle driven by Steven Weisgerber, 50, Florida, before fleeing the scene. Damage to Weisgerber's vehicle was light.

Thursday, Michael Moore, 58, reported the theft of a bicycle from behind Deluxe Cleaners, 615 W. Second St.

Thursday, Theodore Farrington, 34, 1478 S. Jackson Ave. was charged with passing bad checks following an alleged incident at Chief Market Square, 705 Deatrick St.

Thursday, Corey Kaye, 345 Fifth St., reported the theft of numerous items from his residence.

Thursday, Richard Laskow, 44, 1204 Karnes Ave., was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest following an alleged incident at Defiance High School, 1755 Palmer Drive.

Thursday, a 16-year-old Napoleon male was charged with aggravated menacing after an alleged incident at 13-028 County Road U.

Thursday, 2:42 p.m., at Carey Street and Woodlawn Avenue, a car driven by Mary Worchuck, 78, 930 Meldoy Lane, Napoleon, struck a truck driven by Rickey Kiessling, 52, 1256 Tuendawie St., Defiance. Kiessling was cited for failure to yield. Damage to the vehicle was light.

Thursday, 5:02 p.m., at 1074 Scott St., a truck driven by David Kirk, 42, 1133 Sheffield Ave., Napoleon, struck a car driven by Roger Brummitt, 46, 19856 Ohio 111, Defiance. Kirk was cited for assured clear distance. Damage to both vehicles was light.

Thursday, 5:15 p.m., at 124 Meekison St., a car driven by Tina Blosser, 38, 124 Meekison St., Napoleon, struck a car driven by Lindsay Maynard, 18, 538 Huddle Road, Napoleon. Blosser was transported by Napoleon rescue to Henry County Hospital where her condition was unavailable. Blosser was cited for failure to yield. Damage to both vehicles was heavy.

Thursday, 7:27 a.m., on Ohio 34, west of County Road 8, a vehicle driven by John Colbart, age unknown, Edon, struck a deer. Damage to the vehicle was moderate.

Thursday, Adam Norrick, 26, Montpelier, was arrested on a warrant from the Williams County Common Pleas Court. Norrick was charged with two counts of forgery and two counts of theft from an elderly person.

Thursday, Anthony Wickerham, 06512 County Road 12, Bryan, reported that someone threw a rock through his porch window. The loss was undetermined and the incident remains under investigation.

Harold Blankenbeckler, 47, 1003 Frank St., appeared for sentencing on a charge of failure to provide change of notice of address, a fifth-degree felony, and was given a six-month prison term, according to Prosecutor Jeff Strausbaugh's office. The sentence was ordered to run consecutive to a four-year term reimposed for violating terms of community control on a charge of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, a third-degree felony. Blankenbeckler was convicted of changing his address without notifying the sheriff's office, a requirement of his sexual offender registration.

Ronald Collum, 27, Hillsdale, Mich., pleaded guilty to failure to appear, a fourth-degree felony, and was given a 17-month prison term. He was also given a consecutive 11-month sentence for non-support of dependents, a fifth-degree felony. Collum failed to appear for the original sentencing date on the non-support charge after having been released on a personal-recognizance bond.

Alexandria Gaskill, 22, 1395 Ayersville Ave., pleaded no contest to theft, a first-degree misdemeanor, and was found guilty. He was given a suspended 180-day jail sentence, fined $500 and placed on unsupervised probation for two years. Gaskill admitted that she shoplifted at Meijer.

Joyce Trowbridge, 68, 237 Greer St., pleaded guilty to theft, a fourth-degree felony. A presentence investigation was ordered and her personal-recognizance bond was continued. Sentencing was set for Dec. 10.

John Urbina, 26, 10621/2 Holgate Ave., pleaded guilty to two counts of non-support of dependents, each a fifth-degree felony. A presentence investigation was ordered and his personal-recognizance bond was continued. Sentencing was set for Dec. 3.

Wilder Amador, 19, 1001 Riverside Ave., pleaded not guilty to assault, a fourth-degree felony. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for Nov. 6 and his $50,000 cash bond with a 10 percent allowance provision was continued.

Delilah Collins, 39, 15515 Power Dam Road, pleaded not guilty to seven counts of trafficking in drugs, third- fourth- and fifth-degree felonies; and one count of sale of prescription drugs, a fourth-degree felony. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for Nov. 2 and her personal-recognizance bond was continued.

Mark Fleming, 30, 24882 Bowman Road, pleaded not guilty to theft, a fifth-degree felony. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for Nov. 5 and his personal-recognizance bond was continued.

Rex Fockler, 51, Hicksville, pleaded not guilty to eight counts of rape, each a first-degree felony, and one count of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, a third-degree felony. A pretrial hearing was set for Nov. 5 and his $1 million cash bond with a 10 percent allowance provision was continued.

Nathan Garza, 24, 1103 Grove St., pleaded not guilty to trafficking in marijuana, a fourth-degree felony; permitting drug abuse, a fifth-degree felony; and four counts of trafficking in crack cocaine, third- and fourth-degree felonies. A pretrial hearing was set for Nov. 2 and his $250,000 cash bond with a 10 percent allowance provision was continued.

Melvin Lucas, 21, 1027 S. Jackson Ave., pleaded not guilty to trafficking in cocaine, a second-degree felony, and four counts of trafficking in marijuana, each a fourth-degree felony. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for Nov. 5 and h is personal-recognizance bond was continued.

Mongkhon Sunanthapradit, 20, 1610 Woodhurst Drive, pleaded not guilty to improperly discharging a firearm at or into a habitation, a second-degree felony. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for Nov. 6 and his $1 million bond with a 10 percent allowance provision was continued.

Max Tijerina, 24, 24882 Bowman Road, pleaded not guilty to theft, a fifth-degree felony. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for Nov. 5 and his personal-recognizance bond was continued.

Shane Zartman, 22, Grover Hill, pleaded not guilty to receiving stolen property and forgery, each a fifth-degree felony. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for Nov. 6 and his personal-recognizance bond was continued.

James Schmidt, 19, 534 Degler St., had an indictment on a charge of burglary, a third-degree felony, dismissed.
