HCAC leader Transylvania University held off a pesky and focused Defiance College squad on the road to keep a two-game lead in the league race, winning 84-81 in double overtime on Saturday. The Lady Pioneers (15-4 11-1 HCAC) took control of the second 5-minute overtime by netting the first six points to take a 76-70 lead 1:13 into the OT period.
