It's going to be a long day and a long drive for area D-II cross country teams and supporters alike. By the time school transportation vehicles shuttle its boys and girls teams to Saturday's awaiting district stage at Amann's Park, located approximately a half-mile south of Galion, the tires will have logged nearly three times the mileage of all its occupants competing in the 3.1-mile race.
