Girls state basketball poll: Ottoville is No. 1 in Division IV

The Lady Green of Ottoville are the top-ranked team in the state in Division IV in the first Ohio high school girls basketball rankings released by the Associated Press on Tuesday evening.

The Lady Green picked up nine first-place votes and 177 total points to beat out Newark Catholic for the top spot.

Stryker, which lost to Archbold on Tuesday, is currently rated 16th in Division IV.

Archbold is the only other Defiance six-county area team ranked in this week's poll, with the Streaks sixth in Division III.

Reynoldsburg in Division I, Dayton Carroll in Division II and Anna in Division III join the Lady Greeno of Ottoville as number-one ranked teams in the first poll of the year.
