Semi crash closes U.S. 20 in Fulton County, Ohio, this morning

AMBOY TOWNSHIP — The Toledo post of the Ohio Highway Patrol is investigating a commercial truck crash that occurred on U.S. 20 in Fulton County at approximately 3:43 a.m. today.
Troopers reported that a semi driven by Corey Hentschel, South Haven, Mich., was westbound on U.S. 20, just west of Fulton-Lucas Road, and travelled off of the north side of the roadway. The tractor travelled through the guardrail and into the ditch before striking a culvert.
Hentschel was transported to Flower Hospital, Sylvania, by Swanton EMS with minor injuries.
The westbound lanes of U.S. 20 between Fulton-Lucas Road and Ohio 64 were still closed as of 7 a.m. today. The eastbound lanes are currently open for travel.
The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office and the EPA are assisting at the scene.
