Due to snow conditions and strong winds, some counties in northwest Ohio have issued snow emergencies this morning.
Operating on a level 1 emergency are Fulton and Defiance counties. Operating on a level 2 emergency are Henry and Williams counties.
The National Weather Service in northern Indiana has issued a special weather statement for this morning.
A band of snow showers along a cold front is moving southeast across northern Indiana and northwest Ohio this morning, reducing visibility to around a half mile. Little accumulation is expected. Wind gusts are expected up to 35 mph causing blowing snow. Some slick spots are also possible on roadways.
Numerous schools in Defiance, Fulton and Williams counties are operating on a two-hour delay today.
