Williams County to reduce to a Level 2 snow emergency beginning at noon

From the Williams County Sheriff's Office:

The Williams County Sheriff's Office, Steven M. Towns Sheriff, will reduce to a Level 2 Snow Emergency beginning at 12:00 (noon) today. UNTIL THAT TIME A TRAVEL BAN IS IN EFFECT.

A Level 2 Snow Emergency exists to warn motorists that travel should be restricted to on that which is absolutely necessary. Many roads are snow covered, partially drifted and slippery. Travel is discouraged within the county. Some roads may be impassable.

Please allow plenty of additional time to reach your destination. Be safe and use good judgment.
