The National Weather Service is calling for a quick burst of accumulating snow likely late this afternoon and evening for northwest Ohio and northeast Indiana.
According to the weather service, potential is increasing for a period of moderate to heavy snow after 3 p.m. continuing into mid evening. An intense disturbance over southern Manitoba, Canada, will race southeast today with snow expected to develop in advance of the system. The most intense snowfall may only last 3-4 hours but amounts of 2 to as much as 4 inches appear possible. This will have an adverse impact on the afternoon commute.
