Winter storm warning issued by National Weather Service

A winter storm warning has been issued by the National Weather Service in northern Indiana from 7 p.m. tonight until 7 p.m. Saturday. Significant snow accumulations are expected over the area tonight and Saturday.

Snow is expected to overspread the area from southwest to northeast tonight. Accumulations tonight and Saturday are expected to range from 3 to 8 inches over northwest Ohio with higher amounts possible south of U.S. 6. It is believed visibilities will be reduced to less than one-quarter of a mile with heavy snow. Roads will become snow covered, slick and hazardious tonight, continuing into Saturday.

This advisory includes the following counties in Ohio: Defiance, Williams, Fulton, Henry, Paulding, Putnam, Van Wert and Allen.
