Napoleon school board to pay more than $787,000 for land

Tentative settlement approved unanimously at special meeting

Pursuant to the settlement, the board unanimously agreed to pay compensation of $787,724 ($14,000 per acre) for the appropriation of 56.266 acres owned by Mary Weaks as trustee of the Bedford F. Groves and Catherine Groves irrevocable trust.
