Defiance County voters will be asked to pay more for emergency communications at next Tuesdays election.
Voters will be asked to approve a 1.2-mill, five-year levy for enhanced 911 service and other emergency service communications provided by the county sheriffs office. If approved, the levy would generate $816,000 annually, according to county officials.
