District officials hope reduced millage will change voters minds on tax issue

Voters in the Patrick Henry Local School District will face a 5.9-mill, five-year operating levy on the Aug. 3 special election ballot. A group of school officials and district residents has launched a campaign to reach registered voters and encourage them to support the levy, which would bring in $585,000 to the district each year.
