Part of Oakwood Memorial Park, located on the Auglaize River, is under water after torrential rains have forced the river over its banks and into low-lying areas. The National Weather Service in North Webster, Ind., has issued flood warnings for area rivers which have or are expected to crest. The Maumee River in Defiance crested this morning at 12.6 feet. The Auglaize River in Defiance was at 20.3 feet and rising, while it had crested in Fort Jennings. The Tiffin River in Stryker crested and stood at 12.79 feet this morning, while the St. Joseph River in Montpelier was at 11.75 feet and falling. The Blanchard River in Ottawa, at 24.4 feet and rising this morning, was expected to crest this evening.
