AULDING Without knowing it, mental retardation and developmental disabilities touch everyone in a community.
It is for that reason that MR/DD boards strive to help individuals with mental retardation and developmental disabilities and their families, to teach MR/DD students and allow clients to live and work in the community. Local funding is a very essential part of that process, say supporters, and that is why the Paulding County MR/DD board is seeking a continuing, 3.47-mill levy on the March 2 ballot.
