The search for a Defiance man missing for the past 12 days was completely suspended Wednesday afternoon. Meanwhile, another city man who provided alcohol to underage persons attending the party where Garrit Nixon, 20, 21487 Bowman Road, was prior to his Dec. 27 disappearance received a fine and jail sentence in Defiance Municipal Court.
