NAPOLEON The ladies in purple and red are coming out in full force to tell the world that it is okay to dress in colors that clash and have a good time after 50. A new chapter of the world-famous Red Hat Society is now being formed in the city of Napoleon, giving women in the area another reason to head out in groups sporting their most glamorous purple suits and dress and outrageous red hats. Their mission to just have fun. It is estimated that there are over 250,000 Red Hatters worldwide with organizations from California to Ohio to Mexico and New Zealand. The popularity of this organization, which became a public phenomenon in July 2000 following an article in Romantic Homes magazine, proves that girls just want to have fun.
