Small beef producers could benefit

Earlier this week the USDA announced that the first case of Mad Cow disease in the United States was discovered in Washington. While the case is clear across the country, its discovery will have ramifications all the way back to northwest Ohio. Dusty Sonnenberg, an Extension agent with Henry County, was planning on working a half a day Wednesday, that was until the news about the disease being found was announced by Secretary of Agriculture Ann Veneman Tuesday.
