Were on the verge of a brand new year, which promises (God willing) another 365 days of new events on the local, national and world scenes. Oops, make that 366 days. 2004 is a leap year, my obnoxious brother-in-law pointed out to me on Christmas Day which means an extra day of gloating for him and the rest of those suddenly-out-of-the-woodwork University of Michigan football fans.
