The construction funding commitment that many had sought for U.S. 24s realignment and widening appears to be on its way. This week Ohios Transportation Review Advisory Council (TRAC) announced that it has approved $401 million for the project in Defiance, Henry, Lucas and Paulding counties beginning in 2006. This was part of a $3.7 billion commitment by TRAC for highway projects throughout Ohio.
