Napoleon to receive brownfield funds

NAPOLEON The city of Napoleons continued effort to obtain funding to clean up an auto salvage yard on the east edge of the city has finally come to fruition. Gov. Bob Taft announced Tuesday that the city of Napoleon would be one of several cities in the state to share nearly $40 million in grants from the Clean Ohio Fund. This funding is awarded to help clean up brownfields, allowing for the reuse of idle commercial and industrial properties, according to a press release issued from the governors office.
