Defiance County law enforcement officers will be out for revenge after losing last years Battle of the Badges blood-drive competition to Defiance County firefighters and EMS personnel. Last year, firefighters and EMS personnel trounced law enforcement officers in the first-ever Defiance County contest and collected a trophy donated by the American Red Cross. Through the efforts of both groups, about 200 units of blood were collected at last years event, making persons who needed blood the real winners.
