Some groundwork for the widening of Defiances North Clinton Street overpass was laid by city council Tuesday night. An ordinance authorizing a project study was unanimously approved by council as were four other legislative items. Among those were a resolution urging a future interchange at U.S. 24 and West High Street and an ordinance authorizing a contract for the installation of weather warning sirens.
