COLUMBUS While farmers have been busy working in their fields, state and federal lawmakers have been discussing polices that could eventually affect them in their day-to-day operation.
The Ohio General Assembly is currently working on three separate pieces of legislation related to agriculture. One deals with the issue of large-scale livestock operations, another focuses on purposely destroying agricultural products, while the other concerns labeling requirements for agricultural and vegetable seed.
