Henry County Genealogy Society elects new officers

NAPOLEON -- Henry County Genealogical Society met recently at Deshler Library to elect new officers. The new officers are: James Rebar, president; Bill Latta, vice president; Lucille Van Scoyoc, treasurer; Kathy Bishop, secretary; Clara Ellen Courtney, news reporter; Phyllis LaRue, corresponding secretary; and Karen Sunderman, editor. The First Families recognition dinner honoring two members will be Nov. 21 at 6 p.m. in the Deshler Library. Bring your own table service and two food dishes to share. Beverages will be provided. The program will be presented by Jim and Carolyn Rebar on the Charles E. Reynolds experience at Andersonville Prison in 1864-1865.
