A very big one!

This huge, 28-pound butternut squash was raised by Bill Winterhalter of Defiance in a garden on Fruit Ridge Road. Winterhalter said he had three such large squash that grew on three different vines, although this squash was the largest. He said he just gave the squash vines the normal amount of water and fertilizer. The squash is a Waltham butternut hybrid and added that one of the squash has been cooked and was reported to be quite good.
