SCOTT -- Cheryl Ann Clark, 59, of Scott, died at 9 p.m., Tuesday, August 19, 2014, at her residence in Scott. She was born October 6, 1954, in Paulding, Ohio, the daughter of David and Mildred (Rohlf) Strawser, who are deceased. On August 6, 1991, she married Richard Clark, who survives.

Also surviving are sons, Darren Blockberger of Defiance, Jason Blockberger of Defiance, Adam (Lisa) Blockberger of Middle Point and Kyle Clark of Scott; a daughter, April (Josh Brown) Clark of Convoy; brothers, Gale Strawser of Troy, Ohio, and Gerald (Etta) Strawser, Van Wert; sisters, Pat (Roger) Gates of Hoagland, Ind., Sandy (Jim) Altenburger of Van Wert, Alice O'Daffer of Van Wert and Ruby Hollingsworth of Van Wert; a half sister, Graceann (Melvin) Baker; grandchildren, Aleigha Brown, Chloe, Corbin, and Colton Blockberger and other grandchildren; and a lot of nieces and nephews.

She worked in the post offices in Scott and Middle Point, was a school bus driver for Wayne Trace and Paulding schools and had worked at the Times Bulletin in Van Wert.

She was the mayor of Scott for eight years and a 1972 graduate of Lincolnview High School.
