FINDLAY -- Louise Fay Bishop, 78, of Findlay, died at 4:50 a.m. Friday, August 15, 2014, at Birchaven Village, Findlay. She was born on June 10, 1936 in Lima, Ohio to the late Clyde and Beatrice (Martin) Martin. She married Marvin C. Bishop on August 28, 1955, and he preceded her in death on November 9, 2009.
Louise is survived by three sons, Mark A. (Kathie) of rural Forest, Michael L. (Linda) of rural Van Buren; and Stacy D. (Ginny) of rural Findlay; a daughter, Sandra K. Bishop of rural Findlay; several beloved grandchildren, Benjamin, Bethany, Joshua, and Kyle Bishop, Louis, Abigail, and Benjamin Kiser; and great-grandchildren, Juniper and Sage Kiser.
She was preceded in death by a son, David J. Bishop; a sister, Thelma M. Wolford; and her stepfather, Fred Nique.
Louise was a homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting, reading and country music. She was also an artist and a great cook, but her greatest joy in life was her family.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 19, 2014, at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, Findlay, with Reverend Mark Bishop officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Findlay.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home.
