RIDGEVILE CORNERS -- Erma M. Lindhorst, 82, of Ridgeville Corners, died Saturday, August 2, 2014, at the CHP Defiance Area In-Patient Hospice Center of acute leukemia.

She was born February 5, 1932, in Bryan, Ohio, to the late John F. and Lydia (Vollmer) Billow. On April 5, 1953, she married William Lindhorst, who preceded her in death on June 25, 2010. Erma was a devoted member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Ridgeville Corners. She was a homemaker and worked part time for several years at the Ridgeville Post Office. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, helping at the church and making lap quilts with the church ladies. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is lovingly survived by her children, Michael Lindhorst of Niceville, Fla., Stephen Lindhorst of Stryker, Ohio, Susan (Robert) Wisler of Bryan, Ohio, and Thomas Lindhorst of Ridgeville Corners, Ohio; grandchildren, Scott Lindhorst, MD (Kate Silver, MD), Laura (Ehsan) Masodi, and Todd, Rachael and Matt Wisler; sister, Clara Garver of Bryan; brothers, Gerald (Mary Jane) Billow of Toledo and Marvin (Mary Alice) Billow of Dayton.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence Billow.

Funeral services will be held at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Ridgeville Corners, on Wednesday, August 6, 2014, at 11 a.m. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at Rodenberger Funeral Home in Napoleon and one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.
