NAPOLEON -- Randy W. Yaichner, 55, of Napoleon, died Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at St. Luke's Medical Center in Maumee, Ohio.

He was born February 4, 1959, in Napoleon, to the late Marvin Yaichner and Patsy "Pat" (Allen) Yaichner of Napoleon. Randy graduated from Napoleon High School in 1977 and attended Northwest State Community College for two years. Randy was an auto mechanic in former years for Snyder Chevrolet and the former DelGreco Ford in Napoleon, Beckman Chevrolet and Regal Automotive in Defiance. He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Holgate and the Eagles and Moose lodges in Napoleon. Randy loved music, particularly the guitar, where he formerly played in The Work Release Band.

He is survived by his mother, Pat; and his brother, Michael Yaichner of Napoleon; and his nieces, Brittany Yaichner, Jenell (Tyler) Cobb and Kelsey Yaichner.

He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin.

Visitation will be today, June 20, from 2-8 p.m., and Saturday from 10-11 a.m. at Rodenberger Funeral Home in Napoleon. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 21, at Rodenberger Funeral Home in Napoleon with Pastor Dan Sather officiating. Interment will follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens, Defiance, Ohio.
