OAKWOOD -- Former Oakwood resident, Bette Golliver, 92, died Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at the Maple Lawn Medical Care Facility, Coldwater, Michigan.
She was born August 14, 1921, in Paulding County, the daughter of Lloyd and Lela (Miller) Jones. She married George W. Golliver, who preceded her in death on June 4, 1990.
Bette is survived by three children, Shirley Gilmore, Lima, Nila (Michael) Quimby and Richard Golliver, both of Quincy, Mich.; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a brother, Wayne Jones; two sisters, Gae Golliver and Wilma Post; a grandson, and a great-grandson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 21, at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding. Burial will follow in Little Auglaize Cemetery, Melrose. Visitation will be Saturday, June 21, from 10 a.m. until time of services.
