BRYAN -- Donnie L. Stewart, 60, of Bryan, passed away unexpectedly, on Friday, June 13, 2014, in his residence.
Donnie was born July 7, 1953, in Pineville, Kentucky, the son of the late Robert and Katherine (Siler) Stewart. He was a 1971 graduate of Defiance High School, then attended Northwest State Community College. He married Betty Ann Rosendaul on July 9, 1990, in Bryan, and she survives. Donnie was employed at Campbell Soup in Napoleon for nearly 30 years. He was a member of the Bryan Eagles Aerie 2233. Donnie loved music. He had a collection of over 800 CDs. He was talented in playing the guitar and played with several area bands. He enjoyed camping, cookouts and spending quality time with his family. He also enjoyed playing cards, especially euchre.
In addition to his wife, Betty, Donnie is survived by his son, Robert, and his wife Beth Brickey of Bryan; two sisters, Sheryl (Eric) Zipfel of Defiance and Bobbi Jo (Shawn) Laughlin of Lordstown, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
There will not be any visitation and the celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 206 North Lynn Street, Bryan, Ohio.
