CONTINENTAL -- Ralph Glenn Tracy lived an amazing life of 95 years. He peacefully passed away on June 3, 2014, at 3:45 p.m. at The Meadows of Kalida, comforted by his granddaughter Tegan Tracy Huff.

Ralph was born to John and Blance (Hensel) Tracy, who preceded him in death. He was one of four sons. Paul, Gene and Roger were his beloved brothers, who preceded him in death. Ralph was happily married for 65 years to the love of his life, Erma Gertrude (Lehman) Tracy. She preceded him in death on December 24, 2008. Ralph and Erma were the proud parents of three sons, Stanley, Michael and Terry Lee. Terry Lee preceded Ralph in death. Their granddaughters were the highlight of their lives, Tara Tracy (Chris) Warnement of Dupont, Jonelle Tracy (Rusty) Reinhart of Cincinnati, Tegan Tracy (Nathan) Huff and Denae Tracy (Cory) Prowant, both of Continental, and Megan Tracy of Van Wert. Ralph was blessed with nine awesome great-grandchildren, Kiana, Ty and Reed Warnement, Kolt Reinhart, Gavin and Gradyn Huff, Breece and Breck Prowant, and Zoe Tracy. He was often found spending any free time surrounded by his family.

Ralph's life was filled with love, laughter and fun. He spent his career farming and driving truck. He enjoyed hunting, camping, grabbing a bargain at a garage sale, polka dancing and playing the spoons. Ralph did not know a stranger and his favorite pastime was chatting about the weather and catching up on the latest news reading his newspaper. Anyone that had the pleasure of meeting Ralph, had the unique opportunity of meeting a man with a zest for life and an endless sense of humor.

A private Celebration of Life ceremony will be held in his honor. Memorials may be made to the activities department of the Meadows of Kalida.

Arrangements are under the direction of Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Continental, where condolences can be expressed at www.heitmeyerfuneralhome.com.
