Patricia Ann "Pat" Winkler, 62, of Defiance, passed away Friday, May 23, 2014, at her residence.

She was born December 11, 1951, in Springfield, Ohio, the daughter of the late Paul F. and Betty Lou (Burton) Manning. She married Thomas R. Winkler in 1970 and he preceded her in death in 2003. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Defiance AmVets Auxillary.

Pat liked crocheting, flower gardening, and singing karaoke. She was also an avid Elvis fan.

Surviving her are sons Phillip T. Winkler of Pennsylvania, William R. Winkler of Miland, Texas, Michael T. (Catina) Winkler of Paulding, and Benjamin L. Winkler of Paulding; a daughter, Bonnie J. Winkler of Defiance; five grandchildren; sisters Gerry Jaynes of Springfield, Brenda (Phillip) Winkler of Cecil B. J. Noble of Defiance, Vickie (Rick) Floyd of Florida, and Betty Lou (Don) Dixon of Tennessee.

Also preceding her in death were one sister and three brothers.

Visitation will be held from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at the funeral home with Rev. Burnell Hammons officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Defiance. An Auxiliary service will also be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to family wishes.
