PAULDING - Jean E. (Patton) Cramer Woodring, 88, died Thursday, May 22, 2014 at CHP Hospice, Defiance.

She was born July 24, 1925 in Clark County, Ohio, the daughter of Floyd and Thurza (Forbeck) Patton. In 1946 she married Robert Francis Cramer, who preceded her in death on November 21, 1989. In 1992 she married Glen Woodring, who preceded her in death on September 8, 1996. She was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Lutheran Lady's Group of Paulding, the Paulding Garden Club and the Paulding Business Women Association. She retired as assistant manager of Paulding County ASCS Office and was formerly a realtor for Strahley Realty.

Jean is survived by her daughters, Cheryl (Philip) Johanns and Deborah (Walter) Bakle, both of Paulding; four stepchildren, David (Karen) Woodring, Sherwood, Pamela Keller, Kendallville, Ind., Mary Woodbridge, Lake City, Fla., and Rebecca (Jeff) Riley, Ft. Wayne, Ind.; a sister, Martha Green, and a brother, Waldo (Jean) Patton, both of Marysville, OH; seven grandchildren; and eight great-granddaughters.

She is also preceded in death by a daughter, Lynn Michael; a grandson, Bradley Bakle; and siblings, Junita Richardson, Roger Patton, Lawrence Patton, and Betty Randall Johanns.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, May 30, 2014 at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Paulding, with Rev. Karen Stetins officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery, Paulding.

Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Thursday, May 29 at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding, and one hour prior to services on Friday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made to CHP Hospice or a charity of the donor's choice.
