Linda Lue Lytle, 69, of Defiance, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2014, at the CHP Defiance Area In-Patient Hospice Center.
She was born on November 3, 1944, to Ruby (Ferrill) Turley in Spring Hill, W.Va. On January 24, 1977, she married Jim Lytle, and he preceded her in death on August 9, 1986. Linda worked at General Motors Central Foundry.
She is survived by her mother, Ruby of Defiance; son, Paul Bays of Defiance; daughter, Regina Bays of Defiance; stepson, Tommie Lytle of Grover Hill; grandchildren, Paul Lytle of Fort Wayne, Ind., Carrie (Nate) Armstrong of Defiance, Erica Brown of Defiance, Samantha of Fort Wayne, Ind., Jessica of Fort Wayne, Ind., Mirissa Scott of Grover Hill, Justin of Pennsylvnia, Chelsea of Pennsylvania; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Nancy (Dave) Miller of Fort Wayne, Ind.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Debbie Bays; and a son, Charles Bays.
Visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m. Monday, May 19, 2014, at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with Rev. Tim Yazel officiating. Burial will take place at a later date.
