ARCHBOLD -- Viola M. Sigg, 84, of Archbold, passed away Monday afternoon, May 12, 2014, at Fulton Manor in Wauseon.

She was born June 18, 1929, in Archbold, the daughter of Theophilous and Ella (Schroeder) Miller. She married Wilbur L. Sigg on December 25, 1947, and he preceded her in death on December 23, 2004. A lifelong resident of the Archbold area, she was a homemaker and worked at the former Williams 5 & 10 store, and Bernath's Super Valu, both in Archbold. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a member of St. Martin's Lutheran Church in Archbold, where she taught Sunday school.

She is survived by two sons, Kevin (Doretta) Sigg of Granger, Ind., and Keith Sigg of Fayette; and two stepgrandsons, Peter and Paul.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a brother, Elmer Miller.

Private services will be held at St. Martin's Lutheran Church, with Pastor Paul Reichert officiating. Interment will be in the Archbold Cemetery. Short Funeral Home in Archbold has been entrusted with the arrangements.
