SHERWOOD -- Jarad J. Sharp, 26, of Sherwood, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2014, due to injuries received in an automobile accident.
Jarad was born August 26, 1987, in Bryan, to James A. Sharp and Tracy M. Dalton. He was employed by Manufactured Housing, Inc. for the past two years. Prior to this, he worked for Contact Castings in Auburn, Indiana. He was a member of the Steelworker's Local 1701. Jarad enjoyed go-kart racing and his Ford Mustang. He had just purchased his first "Bomber" dirt racing car.
Surviving are his loving companion and mother of his children, Kaylie Loveless of Sherwood; three children, Cayden, Madisen and Colten Sharp, all at home; mother, Tracy Dalton, Bryan; father, James (Tammy) Sharp, Sherwood; five siblings, Jenise Winnie of Bryan, Jayden Dalton of Bryan, Amanda (Rob) Radel of Hicksville, Kerisha Sharp of Sherwood and Derrek Sharp of Sherwood; maternal grandmother, Fonda Keys of Sherwood; and paternal grandparents, Robert (Melissa) Satterlee of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gerald Dalton, Robert and Marie Sharp, and Sharon Bright.
Visitation for Jarad J. Sharp will be held Thursday, May 15, 2014, from 2-8 p.m. in the Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 230 East Elm Street, Sherwood. Funeral services for Jarad will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 16, 2014, in the funeral home, with Pastor Paul Valdez officiating. Interment will follow in Sherwood Cemetery, Sherwood, Ohio.
