CELINA -- David Sink, 79, of Celina, Ohio, died at 1:09 p.m. May 10, 2014, at St. Mary's Memorial District Hospital.
He was born May 18, 1934, in Celina, the son of Manford and Carrie Mae (Sellers) Sink, who are deceased. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Korean War. He was disabled.
Surviving are his wife, Jeanne Wolfgang Sink, Celina; his longtime companion for 26 years, Esther Houser, Celina; seven sons, David D. Sink of Defiance, Tommy Sink of Russells Point, Ohio, Robert Zimmerman, Cary Anthony Sink of Defiance, James Sink of Wapakoneta, John Michael Sink of St. Marys and Dustin L.R. Sink, Defiance; four daughters, Juanita Sink of Defiance, Lisa Sink of Defiance, Marcia Stoffstall of Celina and Sierra Long, Defiance; three brothers, Ronald Sink of Tiffin, Donald Sink of Defiance, and Allen Sink, Van Wert; two sisters, Sally Shinaberry of Van Wert and Kathy Store, St. Marys; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Also preceding him in death were a son, Rickie Sink; a brother, James Sink; and two sisters, Brenda Klima and Susie Hoffmeyer.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lighthouse Fellowship Church, 817 N. Sugar St., Celina, with Pastor Tony Richmond officiating. Burial will be at later date.
