RIDGEVILLE CORNERS -- Evelyn E. Miller, 90, of Ridgeville Corners, Ohio, died Friday, May 9, 2014, at Napoleon Lutheran Home.

She was born November 22, 1923, in Hamler, Ohio, to the late Ferd and Hilda (Helberg) Arps. She was raised by her late foster parents, Grover and Dora Rice.

On December 31, 1942, she married Orval Miller at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Ridgeville Corners, who preceded her in death on September 4, 1998.

Evelyn was a homemaker and worked for J.R. Winters, Napoleon, and Sheridan Mfg., Ridgeville Corners and Wauseon. She was a faithful member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Ridgeville Corners, where she was a member of its Ladies Aid. She also helped make crafts for the Henry County Hospital Auxiliary.

She is survived by children, Tom (Connie) Miller of Archbold and Sharon (Steve) Bischoff of Defiance; grandchildren, Roger (Teresa) Miller and Amy (John) Hesse; and great-grandchildren, Brittany Miller, Brandon Miller, Zachary Hesse and Morgan Hesse.

She was also preceded in death by an infant son, Roger.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 13, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Ridgeville Corners. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday from 3-8 p.m. at Rodenberger Funeral Home, Napoleon, and Tuesday from 10-11 a.m. at the church.
