RIDGEVILLE CORNERS -- Ola Marie Mohring-McGill, 85, of Ridgeville Corners, died peacefully, surrounded by her family on Friday, April 25, 2014, at her residence.
She was born August 4, 1928, in Defiance County to the late William and Mary (Borstelman) Aschemeier.
She worked for Campbell Soup Company, Napoleon, and was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church-Adams Ridge and its WELCA. She also was a member of the Campbell Soup Retiree Club and the Ridgeville Corners American Legion Auxiliary.
In May of 1948 , she married Edwin Mohrning, who preceded her in death on August 3, 1976. In November of 1982, she married Ray McGill, who preceded her in death on November 1, 2006.
She is survived by a daughter, Nancy (Thomas) Wiechers of Ridgeville Corners; a son, Donald (Kathy) Mohring of Napoleon; eight grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and a brother-in-law, Charles Marihugh.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Tomasello; sisters, Bernice Stetler, Doris Weisz and Eva Marihugh; and a stepson, Craig McGill.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 28, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church-Adams Ridge with Pastor Robbie Ketcham officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held today, April 27 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Rodenberger Funeral Home, Napoleon, and Monday from 10-11 a.m. at the church.
