OTTAWA -- Hope L. Okuly, 44, of Ottawa, died at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2014, as the result of an accident on Ohio 309 in Marion County.
She was born July 17, 1969, in Bryan, to Billie and Jane (Sonner) Partee. Her father is deceased, her mother survives in Mt. Vernon with her stepfather, John Moore. On March 14, 1994, she married Jeff Okuly, who survives in Ottawa.
Also surviving are three children, Cassie Okuly of Wauseon, Danielle Okuly and Samantha Okuly, both at home; two brothers, Curt Partee of Butler, Ind., and Billie Joe (Cheri) Partee of Coldwater, Mich.; two sisters, Dawne Kline of Bryan and Michele Greear of Waldo; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Hope was a secretary for Ayersville Water and Sewer. She loved her girls, they were her top priority. She was very competitive and athletic, and was a Pittsburgh Steelers and Ohio State fan. Hope enjoyed sewing, reading and collecting clowns.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at New Creation Lutheran Church, Ottawa, with Rev. Ken Pollitz officiating. Burial will follow in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Ottawa. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Monday at Love Funeral Home, Ottawa, and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the church.
