FLORIDA CITY, Fla. -- Ann C. Bowers Renn, of Florida City, Florida, formerly of Ithaca, N.Y., died April 14, 2104.
She was born October, 1923, in Toledo, Ohio, to Clair D. And Adele (Simon) Bowers. She married Peter E. Renn on March 29, 1941, in Toledo, Ohio, who died June 6, 1981.
She is survived by sons, Wayne E. Renn of Lima, Ohio, and Peter M. Renn, Florida City, Fla.; daughters, Janet (Donald) Priest of Grover Hill, Ohio, and Jodele (Michael) Marshall, Jacksonville, N.Y.; former daughter-in-law, Nanci Derringer Sheath, Lima, Ohio; brothers, Richard (Laura) Bowers of Haviland, Ohio, and Curtis (Bonnie) Bowers, Waldron, Mich.; 10 grandchildren, 17 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her family, she enjoyed bowling, golf, crossword puzzles, reading and traveling. She was a member of St. James the Apostle Catholic Church in Trumansburg, N.Y. She previously worked at the Auto-Lite in Toledo, Ohio, Excello Federal Credit Union in Lima, Ohio, Thayer Appliance in Ithaca, N.Y., and Jacobsen's in Homestead, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; infant son, Timothy Jon; brothers, Junior Bowers and Robert Bowers; sister, Ruth Bowers; and daughter-in-law, Roberta Renn.
Graveside services will be announced later with burial in Calvary Cemetery, Ithaca, N.Y.
