Bainbridge 'Bing' Rasey

ANTWERP -- Bainbridge "Bing" Rasey, 77, of Antwerp, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at Hickory Creek Nursing Home, Hicksville.

Bing was born in Napoleon on December 15, 1936, a son of the late Lovella (Wooten) and Byron Rasey. He was a truck driver at Kenosha Auto Transport and also dabbled in the restaurant business. On Nov. 26, 1955, Bing married Delores Jean Long, who died July 20, 2001.

Bing will be missed by his children, Tina (Max) Dunseth of Coldwater, Mich., Jill (Kent) John of Montpelier, Mark (Michele) of Antwerp and Todd (Sherry) of Butler, Ind.; siblings, Rev. John (Charlotte) of Winston-Salem, N.C., and Sharon (Rev. Larry) Hopkins of Lima; sisters-in-law, Pat and Jan; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Cecil and Byron; and stepfather, Clarence Malone.

Graveside services are at Maumee Cemetery, Antwerp, on Monday, April 21, at 10:30 a.m., with viewing from 9-10 a.m. at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp. Memorials are to Hickory Creek Activity Fund.
