NAPOLEON -- Leona Roehrig, 82, of Napoleon, went home to be with the Lord Sunday morning, April 13, 2014, at Golden Living Northcrest.
Leona was born January 10, 1932, in Napoleon, the daughter of the late Henry and Emma (Miller) Greenhagen. She married George L. Roehrig on June 5, 1955, and he preceded her in death February 4, 2006. She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Florida, Ohio, and a former member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Napoleon, Ohio.
Surviving her in death are her daughter, Debra (Scott) Baker; son, Thomas (Lynette) Roehrig; sister, Jeanie (Richard) Spangler; three grandchildren, Travis Roehrig, Lindsey Roehrig and Alison Roehrig. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George; infant daughter, Connie; two brothers and two sisters.
Friends are invited to visit from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at Walker Mortuary, Napoleon. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 17, at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Florida, Ohio. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Napoleon.
